The guilt, The shame, The aftermath. (Part 1)

The Somali baby boomers have committed unforgettable acts that will always remain in Somali

history. Their guilt isn't going to war with each or messing up the Country but rather their lack of

vision and ability to bring it back. Three decades have passed, and our babyboomer still has not found a solution for our society.

This is a shred of evidence that they are unable to fix the Country. A new generation has risen to the task, creating a situation where the baby boomer felt threatened. The new generation is more educated and capable and has a current vision that the world can go along with.

Geopolitics is rapidly changing, and our leaders are focused on each other instead of bringing

Somalia into the mix of the race as we have a geopolitically strategic location. Our leaders today are busy building their networks to fulfill their agendas instead of introducing the new upcoming generation into the political and leadership market.

Somalias' problems start with needing more visionary leadership with a stable mind. We have a president who has stayed more outside the Country than in since he was sworn in. I need to find out which is more critical when looking at a situation like that, the internal problems or the external and foreign relations.

This narrow-minded baby boomer must allow younger generations to participate in the Country's problems and help fix them. How can you fix anything if you don't involve the people you're setting things for? The Country is 75% youth, and you want to avoid promoting and using that core competency to your advantage, Mr babyboomer.

The world is changing, and only the young can sometimes bring the solution you are yet to find.  As you approach 60, your mind slows down and no longer functions like a 36-year-old. It would be best if you didn't take this as a defeat but somewhat human nature. My father, may Allah bless him, always tells me, "Kor way waa wada , indie" and I never really comprehend the true meaning of it until recently. The old has experience and wisdom but needs to gain abilities to tackle the challenges in 2023.

In summary, it's always important to know who we are and what we are capable of. This

knowledge will guide us and show us the way. But if you fight who you are and try to ignore the

facts surrounding you, you will fail and shame your people.

The baby boomers must accept their failure to fix the Country and stop bombarding us, the younger generation, with guilty stories. It's you, babyboomer, who messed up the Country; stop naming individuals and accept that you, as a babyboomer, were part of the distraction of our beloved Country one way or another.

Regards.
