It’s over,
we have a new President. Mr Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has beaten the incumbent
President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed with an overwhelming majority. The first round was won by Sheikh Sharif with
3 others behind and Hassan Sheikh on second place.
The final
round, 2 other candidates withdrew from the race where it was left with
outgoing president Sheikh Sharif and Hassan Sheikh. Hassan Sheikh absolutely smashed him to pieces.
