Enough of the nonsense; Let the debates begin, we need visionaries

It’s tiring when it’s the re-run of the same old boring script; Somali Presidential candidates announcing their candidacy simultaneously yet we are still to see the one candidate who can sell us the Somali Dream.

 

As society, we should have media networks that can enable the spirit of the Somali people wherever their are in the world yet our moral is declined continuously by miserable politicians who should not be taking up the huge responsibility of running a country that deserves a break from a never ending cycle of violence, tragedy, pain and sorrow, all depressing to the soul and mind of the human being.

 

Somalia has suffered and Somalis have suffered worse yet we are not learning from anything and the pain and suffering is a culture that we have somewhat customised into. 

 

So next time before you beat the drums of a candidate who announces his or her nomination for the commander in chief; Please find out their track record, does he or she have a vision? And if they haven't, then what use are they for my people? Very simple but enough to detest away those who bring us the tragedy and pain and sorrow and misery.

 

Sometimes, it's not all about the clan and especially when it contains a role such as the commander in chief of the Somali people.

 

I'm just trying to let you know that the world is bigger than what our childish Somali media throws at us; there are millions of Somalis far more technocrat then what we have at current moment on the media as we've tried them all yet the misery continues and our children are losing their identity in knowing what it means to be Somali.

 

Maybe we need a new face once again and hope for the best.

 

I say, let the debates begin.
